In the episode 'Blue Print for Murder' millionaire Bo Williamson returns home to discover that his second wife, Jennifer, has funded a new town construction project. Bo is enraged and confronts the architect, Elliot Markham (played by Patrick O'neal), who came up with the idea. Soon after, Bo vanishes again, and it appears he has gone on another European vacation. However, his first wife, Goldie, suspects foul play and enlists the help of Lieutenant Columbo to investigate, despite the absence of a body. Elliot Markham is Columbo's main suspect.
Patrick O'Neal was an American actor born on September 26, 1927, in Ocala, Florida, and passed away on September 9, 1994, in New York City. He began his career in the 1950s and appeared in numerous films, television shows, and stage productions throughout his career. O'Neal's film credits include "The Way We Were," "King Rat," "Under Siege," and "The Boston Strangler." He also appeared in several popular television series, such as "The Twilight Zone," "The Outer Limits," and "The Defenders." In addition to his work in film and television, O'Neal was a respected stage actor, performing in productions on and off Broadway. He was nominated for a Tony Award in 1963 for his performance in the play "The School for Scandal." O'Neal was known for his distinctive voice and commanding presence on screen
