In "Columbo Cries Wolf" Diane Hunter is the publisher of the men's magazine "Bachelor's World". When she decides to sell her stock to a media tycoon, her partner Sean Brantley (played by Ian Buchanen) objects. Not long after, Hunter goes missing on a flight bound for London, and suspicion falls on Brantley. Columbo is convinced of Brantley's guilt and is convinced the body must be within the premises of Brantley's estate.
Ian Buchanan is a Scottish actor who was born on June 16, 1957, in Hamilton, Scotland. He began his acting career in the early 1980s and quickly gained popularity for his role as the villainous Duke Lavery on the American soap opera 'General Hospital'. Buchanan played the role from 1986 to 1989 and later reprised it for short stints in the 1990s and 2010s. In addition to his work on 'General Hospital', Ian Buchanan has appeared in numerous other television shows and films throughout his career. His notable television credits include roles on 'Twin Peaks', 'The Bold and the Beautiful', and 'Days of Our Lives', while his film credits include 'Panic Room', 'The Blue Lagoon', and 'Wyatt Earp'.
