Last Words to Columbo: "Well, at least you got a good story for a show"
In "Caution: Murder Can Be Hazardous to Your Health" television host Wade Anders (played by George Hamilton) has a dark secret that could ruin his career. He once starred in a pornographic film with an underage actress. Budd Clarke, who was originally supposed to host the show, discovers this and plans to use it as leverage to take over the show. Anders, determined to keep his secret hidden, murders Clarke by tampering with his cigarettes. He then steals the evidence Clarke had on him. Columbo is brought in to investigate and discovers several inconsistencies in Anders' story, leading him to uncover the truth about Clarke's death and Anders' past.

He was born on August 12, 1939, in Memphis, Tennessee, and grew up in a well-to-do family. Hamilton started his acting career in the late 1950s and early 1960s with small roles in films such as "Crime and Punishment, USA" (1959), "Where the Boys Are" (1960), and "All the Fine Young Cannibals" (1960).
Hamilton is perhaps best known for his roles in films such as "Love at First Bite" (1979), "Zorro, The Gay Blade" (1981), and "The Godfather Part III" (1990). He has also had a successful career on television, appearing in shows such as "Dynasty," "The Colbys," and "Hart to Hart."
